Education Reimbursement
APICS is regarded as Asia Pacific’s premier clinical intensive care medicine conference.
We are focused on increasing our Forum’s accessibility for intensive care healthcare providers from Low Income and Lower Middle Income Countries (LIC/LMIC as defined by the World Bank here) and Upper Middle Income Countries (Trainees/Allied Health/Nursing), who would benefit from the educational and networking opportunities afforded by our symposium but do not have the financial means to attend.
Other than having reduced registration fees for delegates from these countries, we are going one better: We are offering Education Reimbursement of SGD1000 each with free conference registration!
We invite friends and colleagues in the following categories to apply for the Reimbursement:
- UMIC Trainees/Allied Health/Nursing (For this group, kindly email abstract@sg-apics.com to indicate your interest)
- LMIC/LIC Trainees
- LMIC/LIC Doctors
- LMIC/LIC Allied Health/Nursing
- Paediatric LMIC/LIC Doctors/Trainees
To qualify you must
- Provide supporting evidence you are working in any of the categories above when contacted via email
- Submit an abstract to APICS 2024 (more than 1 abstract submission allowed)
- Have your abstract accepted
Shortlisted applicants will be notified by email.
*Education Reimbursement awarded are subject to available funds and ranking by the selection committee. Closing date for the Education Reimbursement application follows that of the abstract submission deadline.
