ALL attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at APICS 2023 are required to comply with the following code of conduct. The symposium organisers will enforce this code throughout the event and expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
APICS 2023 is dedicated in providing a harassment-free conference experience for all participants of the symposium, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. Harassment of symposium participants in any form is not tolerated. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at the venue, including talks, workshops, parties, and online media. Symposium participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from APICS 2023 without a refund at the discretion of the organisers.
If you are being harassed, or notice another participant being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of symposium staff immediately. Staff can be identified with their staff lanyard. We take any incidents relating to the code of conduct very seriously and complaints will be dealt with in a discrete and confidential manner. Reported incidents will be investigated in an impartial, timely, and thorough manner. We are also committed to help the involved parties to contact the hotel/venue security or local law enforcement and authorities, provide escorts, and assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe throughout the duration of the symposium.
