Abstract Submission<\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>Abstract submission has now been closed.<\/strong><\/p>\nABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Abstracts may be submitted for poster or oral presentation only.<\/li>\n
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the Symposium website. Abstracts submitted by fax, email, or post will\u00a0NOT\u00a0be accepted.<\/li>\n
- Abstracts must be submitted by 30 April 2025. The online submission system will close at 2359 GMT +8 on this day.<\/li>\n
- Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.<\/li>\n
- Abstracts submitted previously to other congresses will not be accepted.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
CONFIRMATION OF RECEIPT AND NOTIFICATION OF DECISION<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- After submitting your abstract, you will receive an email confirmation that your abstract has been received.<\/li>\n
- Please contact the Secretariat at\u00a0abstract@sg-apics.com<\/a> \u00a0if you have submitted an abstract and did not receive an email acknowledgement.<\/li>\n
- Notifications regarding the status of your abstract acceptance will be sent out by\u00a06 June onwards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
PRESENTATION AT THE CONGRESS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Instructions for preparation of poster presentations will be sent together with the acceptance notification.<\/li>\n
- The Organising Committee will endeavour to schedule abstracts according to authors\u2019 preferences but reserves the right to decide on the final form of presentation.<\/li>\n
- For each abstract, at least one author is expected to attend the conference.<\/li>\n
- Abstract presenters need to register by the registration deadline for inclusion in the conference programme and the presentation schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
PREPARING YOUR ABSTRACT FOR SUBMISSION<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- The abstract should be as informative as possible and include the following details:\n
\n- Objectives:<\/strong>\u00a0Background and specific aims of the study<\/li>\n
- Methods:<\/strong>\u00a0Description of methods used<\/li>\n
- Results:<\/strong>\u00a0Summary of results obtained<\/li>\n
- Conclusions:<\/strong> Conclusions reached<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- Abstracts must meet the following specifications:\n
\n- Abstract title<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0Limited to 25 words<\/li>\n
- Abstract text<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0Limited to 300 words<\/li>\n
- Abstract topic<\/strong> \u2013\u00a0Abstract topic must be chosen from a specific theme listed in the Scientific Programme<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
- You may upload 1 graphic\/image for your abstract.<\/li>\n
- Use only standard abbreviations. Special or unusual abbreviations are not recommended. If otherwise necessary, the latter should be placed in parenthesis after the first appearance of the full word.<\/li>\n
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need editorial help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility), or by a copy editor, prior to submission.<\/li>\n
- The submission link at the top of this page allows you to store your abstract in draft form to facilitate edits. Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline to be sent for review for inclusion in the Scientific Programme.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
DECLARATION OF CONSENT TO PUBLICATION AND ASSIGNATION OF COPYRIGHT<\/strong><\/p>\nPlease take note of the following terms:<\/p>\n
\n- The submitted abstract cannot be modified or corrected after the submission deadline has closed. The Abstract Submitter understands that it will be published as submitted.<\/li>\n
- Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. APICS 2025 website, programme, and other promotional materials).<\/li>\n
- The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by him\/her (hereafter referred to as the \u201cContent\u201d) to APICS 2025 and Kenes MP Asia (hereafter referred to as the \u201cOrganisers\u201d), nor the publication of any such Content by the Organisers, on the internet or otherwise, infringes any third-party rights, including, but not limited to, privacy rights and\/or intellectual property rights.<\/li>\n
- The Abstract Submitter grants the Organisers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive basis.<\/li>\n
